Ashley & Matthew’s outdoor chapel wedding was absolutely dreamy. The quick downpour that took place right before the ceremony left the most magical sparkling rain drops on the ceremony flowers which only added to the romantic ambiance. It just so happens that the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took place the same day. But let me tell you, Ashley and Matt were absolute royalty in our eyes! Every detail was carefully planned from from the beautiful flowers to old fashioned oil lamps Ashley’s parents searched high and low to collect. Take a look…

“Patience is the calm acceptance that things can happen in a different order than the one you have in mind. -David G. Allen”
If you are a bride who’s been planning a wedding only to find out this monster virus disrupting all our lives, is even messing with your wedding plans, I’m here to tell you it is all going to be okay. I’m here to remind you that you’re not alone. I’m here to tell you it’s okay to run the gamut of emotions. Praise God for your circle of people who allow you to vent, scream, cry and lose your mind for a time.
Once you’ve worked through all those crazy emotions, it’s time to put on your “big girl panties” and handle this with “grace and poise”. I’m confident, your common sense will kick in because you know in your heart you would never – ever put those you love in harms way. Life is not fair but, you’ll soon come to grips with a new plan and even embrace it! Just remember, you’re not alone in this. It’s no one’s fault. Everyone is going to understand, have empathy and do their best to help you through this trying time. So roll with it. Make the best of it. Make it fun. Yes. You. Can. I promise! If you approach all of life’s uncertainty this way you’ll rise to the top every time.
Please don’t give into the temptation of giving up on everything. Trust me. Just because your date may change doesn’t mean all the other things you’ve so carefully planned should be trashed. “Hold steady Freddy”. “Stay cool in the motor pool”. Don’t lose sight of the reason you’re getting married in the first place.
Remember – “Patience is the calm acceptance that things can happen in a different order than the one you have in mind. -David G. Allen”
